DJ / Producer

Kiara WL is a DJ and producer, owns Music Box Records and presents on Select Radio, the London based FM Dance station. Her house music sets are filled with uplifting pianos, iconic soulful vocals, funky baselines and a smidge of retro vibe.

Her passion for music started very young, at the age of 6 when she started to learn to play guitar and then piano. Once a teenager, she discovered the world of songwriting as well as music production and DJing.

As a songwriter and music producer, Kiara WL loves anything that comes from the 70s, 80s and 90s, mixing old classic vibes with more current trends. In April 2021 her debut album Life made it into several Beatport charts and she produces regularly, with songs played on BBC 3 counties radio ‘BBC Introducing’ as well as several Spotify playlists.

As a DJ she was influenced by the French House wave of late 90s/early 00’s, and she now plays mainly Vocal House, Deep House, Nu-disco, House and Garage, with influences from the 70s, 80s and 90s. DJing took Kiara WL to play in clubs all over Europe and in Miami Beach during WMC.

Her love for radio started in 2002 with a little community radio station in Rome as a radio presenter. Today, she has a regular weekly show on the London Dance Music station Select Radio, presented by Music Box Records – which premiers the latest in house, deep house and nu-disco.

In 2021, Kiara WL founded her record label Music Box Records in London, a label that makes ‘music with soul’. With clear old school influence, Music Box Records’ genres span across house music, deep house, nu-disco and Garage house. Her debut track on the label Meet me on the Dancefloor has gained support by radio and spotify playlists.
