Coming from a classically trained background, Anna has spent the last fifteen years refining her musicianship with a heightened focus on piano and vocal disciplines. Her style has evolved overtime, as she explores songs from across the decades, as well as across genres (mainly covering pop, country, RnB, soul, adult contemporary), uniquely suturing these songs to create seamless medleys. With influences such as Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Karen Carpenter, Paul Simon, Burt Bacharach and Gloria Estefan, Anna feels most connected to her music when self-accompanying on keys, allowing her to control the pace, the story and the texture of her performances. Her clarity of voice and warm tone form her distinctive sound, which is best expressed through well-known song selections which are performed creatively under her own, individual arrangements.
Anna has been performing for the last 10 years across Essex, East London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
Her medleys cover the ages, with pop and rock classics. Public audiences and Private event clients enjoy them and have said it is a great balance of live playing with her DJ song-changing method. Her usual set-up is keys, with looper pedal, and bass drum/stomp box. Her style is perhaps a DECADI-ANИA genre!
